JUVÉDERM® XC

JUVÉDERM® XC injectable gel is a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved dermal filler that, is designed to “temporarily treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds” in people older than 21. It is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a sugar that occurs naturally in the body. HA works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to the skin. Factors that include aging and sun exposure reduce the amount, causing skin to lose structure and volume. JUVÉDERM XC is most effective in improving the appearance of nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth on both sides of the face.

The results of JUVÉDERM XC are visible immediately after injection; any swelling and bruising, to which ice can be applied, should subside during the next few days. Results can last 6 to 9 months, and, in some cases, up to year.

JUVÉDERM® Voluma

If the skin on your face appears to be thin and sunken, low levels of hyaluronic acid could be to blame. Your body is comprised of a number of cells, and this substance naturally exists in between them, giving your skin a firm, youthful appearance. As you age, the substance gradually decreases, slowly depleting your face of moisture and volume. Combined with other factors, this can cause an increase in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC can be injected into the cheek to restore their natural suppleness. A fine needle targets the area to boost their volume and beautifully contour the face. In a matter of minutes, your skin is restored to a firm, plump state. Your face will be more defined and instantly appear more youthful. RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® volumizing filler is a synthetic injectable filler that has been U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved for reducing moderate-to-severe wrinkles, folds and creases around the nose and mouth by augmenting the skin’s natural collagen supply. It is a safe, effective and long-lasting alternative to injectable collagen and other dermal fillers for smoothing wrinkles and adding facial volume and contour.

RADIESSE® filler is composed of microspheres in a water-based gel; the microspheres are made of a substance called calcium hydroxylapatite, which stimulates the production of collagen. When injected into lines and wrinkles, the additional collagen that is produced smooths out the lines and wrinkles, and adds volume to the skin.

Results are visible immediately after injection, and sometimes last up to a year. Because results are temporary, treatments must be repeated to sustain them. Touch-up treatments may prolong the effects of RADIESSE® filler.

RHA Filler

The newest and most dynamic filler made with HA meant to mimic the natural HA in our skin and therefore create the most natural results that stretch seamlessly with your animation. Longer HA chains and less cross linking allows this filler to become the ideal choice for natural and soft results.

Areas treated by HA fillers can go back to their original shape after being altered, stretched, bent, or compressed. Fillers need to have a high level of resilience because they are used in dynamic areas of the face, such as around the mouth. With all of the micromovements we make throughout the day like smiling, laughing, and talking, it’s important to have a dynamic filler that can adapt and be resilient to the movements in the face. Belotero®

Belotero (is one of the lightest dermal fillers available.  Sometimes called the “starter filler,” it is ideal for someone who wants to reduce fine lines around the lips, corners of the mouth, and minor marionette lines (the lines from the corners of your mouth down toward your jawline). Belotero is primarily used to treat those first shallow fine lines, especially around the mouth where the skin is very thin.

Belotero is designed to balance your facial contours by naturally smoothing out the soft lines and wrinkles around the central-most part of your face. Belotero’s technology works with your skin’s framework to restore balance.

Restylane®

Restylane is used to restore your skin’s volume, enhance your lips fullness, and eliminate those wrinkles around the mouth and nasal area, at its base Restylane is hyaluronic acid – a natural hydrator, cell protector and cushioning agent already found within your skin’s DNA. As a result of its natural inhibitor, there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction making this one of the most widely used dermal fillers on the market.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Restylane® injectable gel is a cosmetic “filler” that contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural substance that is found in the body. HA gives volume and elasticity to the skin, but as the body ages, HA levels decrease, resulting in loose skin and wrinkling. When injected, Restylane gel is designed to plump the skin beneath lines and wrinkles, smoothing them out and making them less noticeable and making skin appear younger. When used for lip enhancement, it makes the lips fuller and gives them more definition.

The most common areas for Restylane treatment are the glabellar lines (which run between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (which run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth). Restylane injectable gel is also FDA-approved, for those 21 and older, for enhancing the lips. Results can last for up to 6 months, at which point the hyaluronic acid is reabsorbed by the body.

Perlane®

Both Perlane® injectable gel and Restylane® injectable gel are cosmetic “fillers” that contain hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural substance that is found in the body. HA gives volume and elasticity to the skin, but as the body ages, HA levels decrease, resulting in loose skin and wrinkling. When injected, both gels are designed to plump up the skin beneath lines and wrinkles, smoothing them out and making them less noticeable. The difference between the two is that Perlane gel, although similar in consistency to Restylane gel, contains larger particles, which are better at filling deeper depressions. Perlane injections are used for moderate-to-severe lines around the lips, nose, mouth and forehead.
