Reconstruction

After having had a terrible fall that lacerated the area above my left eye, my daughter and husband drove me to LIJ Medical Center to see a plastic surgeon. I was traumatized by my accident and anxious about what to expect. The wait time in the ER was a long one. But, when I think about it now, it was well worth it because of my encounter with Dr. Sasson! As soon as Dr. Sasson entered my room, my anxiety was immediately lifted. He was such a calming force and even before he began to work on me, I knew I was in the best of hands (quite literally). He told me exactly what he needed to do and talked me through each step. He worked with the highest degree of confidence and skill. My husband, who was watching, was so impressed by the doctor’s level of expertise, his steady hand and the ease at which he performed the task. Like a craftsman he went to work, stitching my wound with unwavering confidence and incredible precision. And, things didn’t stop here. Dr. Sasson and his wonderful office staff helped me through my time at home while I was recovering, answering all my questions and putting me at ease. Having had such a frightening experience, I couldn’t be more grateful to Dr. Sasson. His workmanship goes uncontested! And, his genuine interest in helping me through this most traumatizing time in my life will never be forgotten. I am healing remarkably well thanks to him! Dr. Sasson was my savior that night!
